Australian Lawyers Alliance Ltd's National Council has approved the commercial use of the membership mailing list (including email addresses in so far as it does not contravene SPAM legislation) in a controlled manner to outside bodies proposing appropriate mail-outs. If, as a member, you wish to have your name excluded from these commercial mailing lists, you should advise the Privacy Officer in writing.

Information provided by you to Australian Lawyers Alliance Ltd may be disclosed to:

• Other members seeking information about legal issues.
• Members of the public seeking legal advice from a member.
• Members of the public seeking legal opinion from a plaintiff lawyer with a special interest.

If, as a member, you wish to have your name excluded from disclosure you should advise the Privacy Officer in writing.

All Australian Lawyers Alliance Ltd personal information data is accurate, complete and kept up to date, and can be accessed only by authorised Australian Lawyers Alliance Ltd staff and officers in the performance of their work duties.
