Medical Law Special Interest Group

 

The ALA Medical Law Special Interest Group is composed of members passionate about medical law and who advocate for safety, ethics and fairness within health policies and healthcare systems across Australia.

This Special Interest Group’s purpose is to:

  • Promote continuing education of medicolegal issues to members of the ALA through the annual Medical Law conference and other ALA conferences and events;
  • Develop, promote and respond to policies affecting health care and the rights of individuals adversely affected by the delivery of health care; and
  • Provide a forum for SIG members to interact and share information on medicolegal issues.
