Inquiry into Youth Justice Reform in Queensland

The ALA made a submission to the Queensland Parliament’s Youth Justice Reform Select Committee regarding youth justice reform in Queensland.
Our submission addresses the use of evidence-based strategies to reduce contact with the justice system and recidivism, as well as improvements to the management and delivery of corrective services in Queensland.
The Youth Justice Reform Select Committee handed down an interim report in April 2024.
