Restricting the use of NDAs in workplace sexual harassment cases

The ALA has made a submission to Industrial Relations Victoria on progressing legislative reforms to restrict the use of non-disclosure agreements (NDAs) in workplace sexual harassment cases.

Our submission includes recommendations on what should be included in Victoria’s future NDAs legislation, on the scope of this reform, as well as on compliance and enforcement matters.

Additionally, ALA Victoria Branch President Susan Accary attended a roundtable hosted by Industrial Relations Victoria to share the ALA’s position on this reform earlier this month.
