Renee joined the ALA in April 2004. As Publications Manager, she has overall responsibility for the commissioning, editing and production of Precedent magazine; and for editing and ensuring adherence to our house style of all ALA’s published materials, whether in print or digital formats.
Before returning to Australia in 2002, Renee lived in London for 20 years, where her most recent role was Publications Manager for the Audit Commission, for six years. Prior to that, she worked for the Refugee Legal Centre, the Child Poverty Action Group, the National Council for Civil Liberties (Liberty), Public Art Development Trust (PADT) and Greater London Arts (GLA). She has a BA (Hons) degree from the ANU in medieval history and English; and a post-graduate diploma from City University, London, in arts administration.
