Overview

As a lawyer, getting the right compensation for your client is only the beginning; you also have a responsibility to provide advice on how to make that compensation last. This seminar will provide you with information on how to meet your post-settlement/trial obligations to your clients, and give guidance on how you can look after yourself – both financially and mentally – while tackling the challenges that often arise for those leading busy professional lives.

On 6 August 2018, Practice Direction No. 15 of 2018 was released by the Chief Justice. This seminar will include the important changes to procedures for the sanctioning of settlements and identifies new material that must be presented as part of an application.

This is a seminar that all practitioners, particularly those specialising in the area, should not miss.

Delegates will be provided with a hot breakfast and will also be able to claim up to 1.5 CLE points.
