Adelaide lawyer Adrian Cartland contributed to the development of AILIRA (Artificially Intelligent Legal Information Research Assistant), which was originally developed for the tax law sector. A notable AILIRA project involves assisting people in low socioeconomic communities in the NT gain access to legal information for free. (source). The project has even helped a non-lawyer to pass a law exam.
