Summerfield – same trauma, same cause, different result Seminar

Overview

The question of whether separate impairments can be combined for the purposes of lump-sum compensation and determination of seriously injured worker status under the Return to Work Act 2014 is a high-stakes and highly-contested question. The recent Summerfield decision of the Supreme Court of SA has resolved much, but not all, of the uncertainty regarding that question.

In this seminar, barrister Simon Blewett of Selby Street Chambers will look at how we got to Summerfield, what did Summerfield resolve, and what remains to be sorted out.

The seminar will be followed by celebratory EOFY drinks. A separate registration is required for this so please click here to confirm your place.
