Overview

This prestigious seminar is an annual summary that encapsulates and evaluates decisions of the High Court from the preceding year. Selected cases from other jurisdictions impacting local law will also be discussed.

Expert local practitioners will present on the comprehensive analysis by barristers Gerard Mullins and Richard Douglas QC of legislation and cases handed down all over Australia in the High Court, State Courts of Appeal and in Queensland over the past 12 months.

This year, the program features a bonus medico-legal session presented by regional sponsor Adept IME’s orthopaedic surgeons. Following the two-hour seminar, the QLD regional committee invites you to join them at the ALA’s End of Year Celebration.
