Overview

The Medical Law Conference is the premier annual event for legal practitioners with a medical law focus.
The conference will be held Friday, 21 July 2017 at Dockside Convention Centre, Cockle Bay, Darling Harbour.

  • Complex Regional Pain Disorder - Thomas Kossmann, Orthopaedic Surgeon & Director, Lex Medicus, discusses the multifactorial aetiology of CRPS and the current modalities of treatment.
  • Spinal Rehabilitation - Dr Sue Rutkowski, Rehabilitation Physician & Clinical Senior Lecturer, University of Sydney will take us through spinal cord injuries, the manner in which these are assessed and calculate the costs associated with these injuries.
  • Annual Case Review - Bill Madden, Special Counsel, Carroll & O'Dea Lawyers & Richard O'Keefe, Maurice Byers Chambers
