Overview
The Workplace Injury Rehabilitation and Compensation Amendment (WorkCover Scheme Modernisation) Act 2023 (Vic) comes into effect on Sunday, 31 March 2024.
This Act makes significant changes to Victoria’s workers’ compensation scheme, including:
• changes to eligibility to compensation for mental injury; and
• a whole person impairment test of greater than 20 per cent after the 130-week second entitlement period.
