Overview
This seminar begins with the basics of Anatomy of the shoulder, humerus, elbow, forearm wrist and hand, followed by a detailed description of selected pathologies to provide their definition, diagnosis, and treatment modalities.
Subsequently, Dr Kossmann will introduce the methods for medical examination of the Upper extremities, including measurements of the range of motion of the major joints and the description of specific tests, each one providing information on individual pathologies.
Actual case studies of impairment assessment will be presented to provide an insight into the step-by-step process for calculating impairment of the upper extremities according to the AMA 4th edition commonly used in Victoria.
