Overview

The new motor accident regime – approaching one year

This CTP seminar, presented in 2018 by NSW ALA State President Andrew Stone SC, will cover the early issues arising under the Motor Accident Injuries Act 2017.

The session will focus on:

  • Legislative and guideline changes since the introduction of the Act;
  • Insurer conduct under the new Act and how the ALA is seeking to address it;
  • The new statutory benefits regime and how it is operating;
  • A review of decisions from the Dispute Resolution Service on statutory benefits; and
  • The vexed boundaries of blameless accidents under the new Act.

Register today to ensure that you are well versed in your clients’ compensation rights.
